Old Town Clothing

Buying British

This is something very special and personal for the customer.

Old Town is a clothing manufacturer specialising in made to order classic British workwear, with a shop and workshop in the Georgian market town of Holt in North Norfolk. Old Town produces around 50 garments per week using British cottons, woollens and linens wherever possible.
You can select the style desired, add size, fabric and colour and away they go. The process takes around 4-6 weeks, individually cutting, sewing and finishing your garment!

A ray of hope for British manufacturing, Old Town Clothing has some fine pieces on offer.

"In 1996 East London Mods Alex Banks and Christopher Lord formed the Art Gallery DJ Collective - featuring Lady Michelle, Flaz, Cess and ex-PPQ DJ Graeme Very - to spin a mix of 60`s Soul, Beat and Psych. Their debut night was the Beat Bubble Ball at Chinatown speakeasy The Clinic. They followed this up with a stint guesting at Paul Hallam`s Popcorn night at the 100 Club on Oxford Street. In 1997 Art Gallery returned to the Clinic and for the next five years ran the now-legendary Lordy Lord ! - a club night famous for its top tunes, and for being hot, sweaty and packed to the rafters every month.

Check out Noonday Underground's 'London' promo video on You Tube for a taster of how the club was back then!

Art Gallery launched their clothing range in 1999.
